Spotify Playlist: 70s Style Stoner

Our 70s Style Stoner playlist has recently had a flurry of new subscribers on Spotify, so if your a dirty user yourself check it out and enter the stonesphere. It’s basically just a bunch of mordern-ish tunes with a retro twist. Graveyard, Astra, The Sword, Colour Haze and plenty more stoner rock/metal that shows vague  hints of 70s-era music is included. It’s a tight playlist with a loose concept.

And that, I think, was the handle—that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark—that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back. – HST

  2. I can’t get Spotify in the country I’m living in 😦 but luckily I already have them in my CD collection 🙂 . Nice playlist. Have you ever checked out Hammers of Misfortune? A lot of their songs have that stoner 70s prog/psychedelic vibe to them, albeit with a nice modern touch.
